Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Zanzibar → Arusha (Flight) – Tarangire National Park
Early morning transfer from your hotel in Zanzibar to the airport for your flight to Arusha.
Upon arrival, your Safari Insight professional guide will welcome you with a short safari briefing.
Drive toward Tarangire National Park, a wildlife sanctuary famous for its river ecosystem and the highest elephant concentration in Tanzania.
Enjoy a full afternoon game drive, exploring savannah landscapes dotted with majestic baobab trees.
Spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, cheetahs, leopards (rare), and numerous bird species.
Late afternoon exit the park and drive to your lodge/camp near Tarangire or Karatu.
Dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Zanzibar
Early morning departure for the legendary Ngorongoro Crater.
Descend 600 meters into the world’s largest intact caldera for a full morning game drive.
Spot black rhinos, hippos, lions, hyenas, elephants, buffaloes, and many more species.
Picnic lunch at the hippo pool viewpoint.
Afternoon ascent and transfer back to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar.
Transfer to your hotel upon arrival.
